Born and raised in Montreal of Haitian origins, Marc-Johnson discovered his passion for hairdressing at a young age. Inspired by his father's routine of giving him a shaved head every two weeks, Marc started cutting his own hair at just 10 years old. His journey in the hairdressing industry truly began when he was hired at Laced-Up Barbershop at the age of 14 on June 17, 2010. Since then, hairdressing has been his sole profession.

 

Marc's motivation comes from the transformative power of a good haircut, coupled with meaningful conversations. He finds great satisfaction in making his clients feel and look their best. In 2020, he opened his own private studio, where he specializes in all types of haircuts and hairstyles, with a particular flair for hair designs.

 

After three years of mentoring at Laced-Up Barbershop, Marc spent seven years at Quality Cuts Barbershop, honing his skills. He also furthered his training by completing an advanced course at Nym Coiffure, obtaining a certification which strengthened his expertise.

 

Deeply involved in his community, Marc actively participates in events and charities, believing in the importance of giving back. What sets him apart in the industry is his attention to detail and excellent time management. His clients appreciate his dedication to respecting their time and delivering haircuts that exceed their expectations.

 

Looking to the future, Marc-Johnson aims to continue his mission to change the world, one haircut at a time, while serving his community and honoring the support he has received over the past 14 years.
